Closing Dates for Summit County Ski Resorts
As the days start to get longer and the weather warms, Colorado’s snowpack will slowly begin to melt off its peaks, bringing hope for a wildfire-free summer.

With Colorado’s snowpack typically reaching its peak at some point at the beginning of April, ski area’s bases will slowly begin to shrink, and mountain operation teams will turn toward closing the slopes for the season.

Although this winter season may have felt like major storms have been infrequent, the bases at ski areas are close, or on par with the snow totals that have historically been seen over the last four years at this time of year.

Copper Mountain and Keystone Ski Resort have already set their closing dates. Continue reading to hear about Arapahoe Basin and Breckenridge...
Big News in Real Estate
In March, the National Association of Realtors proposed a settlement in response to lawsuits, which may bring significant changes to our industry. While it's not approved yet, Christie's International Real Estate is prepared to adapt and help clients navigate any new norms. Changes, if approved, might include no longer displaying commissions on listings and potential shifts in commission payment structures. The settlement could lead to fewer realtors nationwide, potentially improving service quality and reducing costs for sellers. Nothing is certain right now but we here at Christie's will be sure to keep you informed with any updates. Please do call me if you have any further questions.

We sat down and talked with Thirsty Pika owner, Chris Proctor.
Q: Tell us about your history and inspiration and why did you name your taproom the Thirsty Pika?

A: Silverthornes inevitable expansion drove our desisre to open this mountain themed taproom. We love our high-alpine mammalian friends, hence the Thirsty Pika!

A: Our team has a variety of backgrounds including tech sales, brewery operations and pharmaceuticals.

Q: How does the Thirsty Pika Taproom work?

A: 30 taps, listed above. Non-alcoholic and gluten free options are in the cooler, plus sandwiches and snacks. We also have juice boxes and milk for kids.
Q: What are your top 3 favorite taps?

A: Too many great ones to target only 3! We’re also rotating new items on tap daily.

Q: As real estate agents, we know location is everything! How did you choose your location?

A: It simply checked all the boxes…parking, visibility, patio space, recreation path…to name just a few.
